I wanted to post an update as things with family and my photography business will be changing for 2021
Thursday we had a call about my moms biopsy results and they were positive for cancer. She will need to have a portion of her lung removed in the near future to get the cancer out and possibly other therapies afterwards. Over the past couple of months I have been by her side everyday making appointments, traveling to different specialists, and helping her at home. I will continue to help her navigate through this storm until it passes and God answers our prayers and heals her. Any and all prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
As far as my photography business is concerned some changes will be made this year out of an abundance of caution due to Covid-19. I will no longer be doing any studio sessions or sessions that require me to handle props to reduce the chance of contracting the virus and spreading it to family (this is only for 2021).
The other change I'm making is taking on fewer clients this year. That will allow me the ability to free up time, help with my mom, and still have quality family time.
I will still be taking on a few more weddings, senior, family, and children sessions(non-studio). I would suggest booking your session a couple months in advance to ensure you have your date reserved.
Thank you to everyone that took the time to read this update, pray, and book your memories with me. My hopes is that I will be able to resume my normal photography schedule next year but for now God first and then family always.
